Regenerating product awareness when product availability is announced.
the situation
Manufacturers often announce products to the market well in advance of their availability. Sometimes, the duration between the product announcement and the actual availability of the product is so great, the challenge is to regenerate product awareness and interest within the target audience.
the solution
The creative team (Natalie Kitamura Design, SF, and Wardog Creative) was asked to develop a self-mailer that would be sent to resellers. Our solution reminded the target audience of what a leading industry online publication concluded after testing the product, coupled with a concept that communicated the fact that the wait for product availability was over. In the interim, the target audience may have forgotten key product details. These are covered in copy.
