Because they captured images one row at a time, they were best for capturing stationary subjects. If the subject moved, they produced distorted images.<\/p>\n<p>Amber Engineering had developed a two-dimensional, 256 x 256 pixel array that produced outstanding results, regardless of the whether the subject moved or not.
